The princess of Ivantis, daughter of King Lavier Ivantis and Queen Knale Sheligath, also known as “the Soul Catcher”, and the “Midian Queen”. Meron is a figure whose legend has transcended time. She is a powerful sorceress, skilled in all kinds of otherworld magics, and perhaps the most knowledgeable arcanist in the world.

Meron’s most notable achievements are the creation of Soulgems, a particular art which only she has mastered. The monstrous souls Meron has captured are stored in gems and implanted into insectile fabricants that follow her and do her bidding. When commanded, these insects can unleash their monsters, which remain under her control. This ability to capture whole souls and to dominate them has made her a fearsome legend, and a bogeyman of sorts to those who are aware of the secret world.

It is unclear whether Meron possessed the knowledge to become an archon and whether she was unable or unwilling to ascend with the other god-kings of Ivantis before the fall.

Meron has a “twin brother”, Leydon, who did not survive the Fall of Ivantis. Instead, Leydon ascended to become a minor Archon with his own small otherworld. This twisted pocket dimension can be accessed through the portal in the Soul Catcher’s Tomb.
