The first emperor and founder of the Radiant Empire. Enlu was a powerful sorcerer who found favor with Knale Sheligath and pled with her for the power to defeat the Calamities and Midian overlords who controlled the world during the Second Age.

With the Radiant Goddess at his side, Enlu raised an army known as the Dreadguard and fought back the Dark Many using sword and sorcery. The forging of sunsteel and introduction of anointed weapons played a major role in his victories, as did the assistance of powerful sunborn shock troops.

Enlu campaigned across Europe, Asia, and Africa, destroying most of the strongholds of the Dark Many and establishing bastions of civilization in his wake. He entrusted the protection of these fledging cities to his imperial nobility.

After these adventures, his union with the Radiant Goddess brought forth a daughter, Carmine the Eternal. As per his bargain, when Carmine came of age, Enlu joined the Radiant Goddess in Sheligath, and Carmine ascended the throne.
